VFS Global Launches New Joint Visa Application Centre in Algeria to Serve 11 Countries
Enhanced Comfort and Convenience with Premium Lounge Services
Visa services for Algerian residents are now available in Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Ukraine. They can be accessed at the new VFS Global premises at 1 Tripoli Street Hussein Dey, Algiers.
Short- and long-stay visas for these 11 countries can be applied at the new state-of-the-art centre. The centre, which was inaugurated on February 22, 2024, by various ambassadors, including His Excellency Mr Illija Zeladik, ambassador of Croatia, and Ms Randi Lillian Mortensen Adoum, vice consul of Denmark, is open to the public.
To submit applications, applicants must first make an appointment. Appointments are free of charge and can be scheduled at www.vfsglobal.com. VFS Global cautions applicants to avoid third-party entities that offer appointments or visa decisions for an additional fee.
Optional premium services are available for applicants seeking an enhanced visa application experience. The services, which include SMS updates, courier return of passports, photocopying, and photo booth services, cost an extra fee. It is important to note that these additional services have no bearing on the processing timelines and decisions on visa applications, which are the sole prerogative of the respective embassy/consulate.
